How To Block Ads

For a Publisher, ads are a major source of earning their income and on the other way for advertisers, it's a major source of advertising their content in front of masses. But what to do in the case if these ads grow so much in dekstop or the content you have downloaded. In that case you can block these ads.Depending upon your perception you might consider ad blocking a savior....or a growing problem. Both points are valid at their place.

What id ad blocking?
When you download selective materials while visiting a website or can app, but with those selective materials the unwanted materials which came along are called ads.So it refers to the "blocking" of these unwanted materials of the unwanted materials from loading.

How To Block Ads
By the method I am going to tell you, you can block ads FireFox,Internet Explorer,Opera and programmes like Instant Messages and Torrent. It means you can block ads on your computer regardless of which programme or browser the ads are shown in.
The following programmes will help to block ads on the browser or the application on which the ads are shown in.
These are:
#AdFender is an ad-blocking program that works independent of web browsers; it installs as a Windows program and not a browser add-on/extension and it blocks ads on all your browsers, system-wide. As such, you can use AdFender to block ads on Firefox, Internet Explorer (including the latest v11 of IE), Chrome, Opera, or any other web browser you use; it also blocks ads on instant messaging programs and torrent software. All you have to do is download and install AdFender, and it is good to go — it will automatically block ads on Internet Explorer (and your other browsers).

#HostsMan is not an ad-blocking program; it is a program that allows you to modify your Windows computer’s HOSTS file. However, you can use HostsMan to block ads because you can use it to block connections to ad networks vis-a-vis the HOSTS file. The process is actually quite a bit easier than it sounds — you only have to click a few buttons — and it is very effective: it blocks ads on every browser or program on your computer.

How does it work?
Ad blocking involves software that work at various levels.Commonly called an "ad blocker",it usually is installed as an extension into a browser like chrome or Firefox.Once installed ,it filters content into two main ways:
1.)By checking against a blacklist the domain names of the items loading on a webpage or stopping them from loading.
2.)Then checking the page after it is done loading and removing any items that fit certain rules, like images with standard ad dimensions or text within a box that says "sponsored".

Because most sites use third-party JavaScript tags in their code ,and these providers use the same domain name with all their clients, the domain blacklist approach is highly effective. The content of the page is downloaded and stripped of the ad tags before they even load,so ad networks never even know that an impression has occurred.
This software can also run at other levels. For example, more sophisticated users can change settings on their operating systems so that no ad networks are contacted, and this can be done with any browser or application.
The companies like SHINE,even create software to sell directly to mobile carriers to block ads.

Why should we use an ad Blocker?
The major reasons for someone to block ads are:
Better experience to users :-A page can have dozens of  ad tags ,thus it need loading hundreds of tags ,images and megabytes of videos, thus preventing all this from loading speeds up website.
This builds up the loyal visitors.
Privacy:-Most ad networks and tracking systems(like Google  Analytics) collect information about user behaviour and pages       visited, which can lead to privacy issues.Ad block softwares stop all this and make it easy to browse privately.
