How to become a Web Developer

If you want to become a web developer,then need not worry I will tell you what the things you will need in your knowledge to become a web developer.

First of all, just to start as a web developer you need the following things:-
• HTML
• CSS
• PHP, or some other web-serving language.

Now, with HTML you will just be able to make a skeleton of your website. And with CSS you will now be able to design you lovely website like giving it colours ,handling the font sizes and the background images etc.
Now the question arise, You have completed the skeleton of the website and given it colours. Now what more than that, for example if you need to make a retail shop website or an online megastore or a website that links with your office.

So, for doing effectively you need the following:
• SQL
• JavaScript
• libraries and frameworks
• a bug tracking system

Skipping PHP and others and going direct to RAILS is a good idea(because if you know already about web development ie about HTML & CSS then you will find RAILS more easy).
